A new gospel artist has entered the Zim gospel music scene with much gusto and enthusiasm: Charmaine Mudonhi, is a new gospel musician who considers herself very professional and says she takes herself and her work very seriously.
Charmaine has a pure, clear and ethereal voice with a rich resonant quality which can be felt in her single track Vimba naye ( released on the 6th of December 2023. The 20 year old gospel diva also performs with The United Choir, a Marondera based gospel outfit and she is known for her electrifying energy on stage when they perform.
Zimba Wave spoke to the cheerful upcoming gospel singer, who says her inspiration is Janet Manyowa, Michael Mahendere and Ntokozo Mbambo from South Africa,whom if God was to grant her one wish, it would be to collaborate with any of the three mega stars.
