Tojey Blox, born Blessing Banda, is a Zimbabwean-South African rapper, producer, and songwriter. Raised in Bulawayo, he began his music journey in school, initially drumming fingers to create musical beats. Over time, he progressed to free-styling and recording on his phone before expanding his skills using software like “Virtual DJ.” Tojey gained attention with his performances and collaborations, notably dropping the “Worldwide Movement EP” in 2017 and later performing at various events in Zimbabwe and South Africa. His music video for “Power” gained recognition on TV channels, and he received interviews both locally and internationally, earning nominations at South African awards. Tojey released his fourth album titled “Pothole World” in 2021, attracting the attention of American R&B artist Ne-yo and securing his music video airing on Channel O TV. He continues to perform, collaborate, and engage with his audience through various social media platforms.
